With 20 years of existence, the Department of Heart Failure of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (DEIC) launches, in 2021, its journal ABC Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy (ABC HF).
The new publication is an integral part of the ABC Family (Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia), a publication already consolidated in Brazilian and international cardiology as a vehicle for the dissemination of scientific research in the area.
The new ABC HF proposes to stimulate and disseminate research in the areas of Heart Failure (HF), Cardiomyopathies, rare diseases, heart transplantation and HF devices at national and international level, having its publication in Portuguese and English.
In our journal, you can find editorials, reviews, original articles, viewpoints on the latest and most challenging topics in the areas mentioned. All published scientific contributions are reviewed by peers, by members of the Editorial Board and by the board of reviewers, who were selected among the most important researchers in Brazil and abroad. The acceptance of the manuscripts is made according to their relevance and originality, scientific accuracy and level of importance for scientific advancement.
We hope in this way to contribute more and more to the development of national and international science, maintaining the premises of quality and ethics already consolidated in our department.
